World Cup Glory...?

Much as the England team may be appealing in some ways (Beckham, Cole J & Cole A, Owen and several others are all attractive young men, worthy of more than a passing glimpse!) they're really going to have to do much better than the terrible performances they've put in so far in the World Cup.

I'm not major sporting fan, other than the odd foray into any competitive going-on that parades man-talent around but I can certainly tell that our national team are playing below par. The emphasis on Rooney has perhaps detracted from the fact that we need an entire squad working together rather than single compontants tuned to optimum whilst the rest ticks over.

I'm hoping for much more in games to come... Otherwise I can see us kissing hopes of glory failing in the next round! Jxx
