Serious Bit:
Heard on the news today that some woman is trying a last ditch attempt at getting the courst to allow her to use her frozen embryo's to get pregnant. The snag is that they were created with her now ex-partner who's not keen to have his genetic material involved in the child-creating process anymore! It's a real toughie! The woman no longer has ovaries and so, cannot concieve in any other way but the bloke's got to have the right to not have little half-versions of himself running around! Wouldn't like to be in either of their shoes! I can only hope they work something out amicably.

The really stupid thing is, if she was able to go ahead and have the child, without her ex-partners consent, he'd still be liable for child support in the future, if I understand correctly! Ludicrous! There's gotta be some way in which the law can act more fairly in these cases! Or is that simply too much to hope for?

Also heard on BBC radio 2 that Sarah Kennedy (Dawn Chorus) thinks she's a Gay Icon... 'Fraid not Sarah! Deluded - Yes! Icon - No! I only listen to the show for the news at 7am, her drivel is a consequence! Wish terry Wogan started earlier!
