I was updating my profile on friends re-united yesterday having recieved a message from an old Nursing School buddy and it got me thinking about whether I'd like most people I went to school / college with to get in touch! As a rule, I wouldn't! I wasn't a popular kid at school and generally spent my time alone or with one of just a handfull of other kids that would speak to me! It was a pretty crappy time which I'm sure a lot of folk can empathise with. Not that I'm really that bothered anymore but really, I wonder the logic of posting my details on a site designed to promote getting in touch with old contacts!
Saying that, I wouldn't mind knowing whether certain school associates were or have turned out to be gay. Similarly, I'd love to get a photo of a few of the lads I used to really fancy back then to see what they look like now! Would also love to see their faces when they realise I had a huge crush on them! Shan't mention any names now...
As for college, well, there's not a lot to say! I wasn't there long as I managed to suffer with Glandular Fever (mono) real bad and ended up leaving the course early! Nursing School was much better and I must admit, as we hit ten years qualified, it's nice to hear how the other qualified nursing stafff have done over the years!
