Snow fun anymore!

Mood: Chilly!

I used to really enjoy a good winter. Yes, it was cold as heck but the ice and snow we got up North were amazing. Thick lush snow that you could lie down in and be enclosed on all sides. Snowmen, snowballs, igloos (of a fashion)… It all made for a real magical winter wonderland and the scenery… Whole fields and forests glittering white in the moonlight.. Amazing!

Nowadays, here in the midlands, we seem to be lucky to get a drizzling of sleety snow and whisper of the images I remember from my childhood. I’m never sure if it’s entirely to do with the geographical location or simply that global warming is showing it’s ever present but often subtle, so far, effects?

Maybe I should move? (Off planet?) Jxx

Listening to: The rantings, ravings and general craziness of the Celebrity Big Brother household!

Reading: Seventh Tower (book five) by Garth Nix (slowly - despite it being short!)
