Still enjoying photography! Am considering my next camera (almost definitely a Canon 400D, which I nearly bought yesterday!) but I need to sensibly wait till the New Years sales before stretching the bank that far... Got Xmas to get through first and presents alone will soon mount up! Then there's food, and drink...! Speaking of which, I've not had one since a week last Friday - A drink that is! Am some kind of martyr I know! With one monumental hangover too many finally striking, I suggested (and D agreed, damn him) that we should go alcohol free until the Xmas Party in December! That's over a month without! I'm sure it'll change my blood chemistry forever! ANyway, I'm trying to distract myself with pictures and have managed to take (and slightly edit) a few to a reasonable standard so I thought I'd share 'em.

There are a few better ones but they're being fiddled with and blown up and such to make the best out of them... You'll have to see me in person to catch a glimpse of those! The ones above were all taken in Liverpool last month whilst staying with my friend Pat. She's a good egg, trapsing around after me all day whilst I took hundreds of shots of what probably seemed like run of the mill sights to her!

In other news, I'm heading off to see another friend tomorrow... The one and only Kas, commenter on many a blog entry and somewhat deranged fan of chickens! Just a brief jaunt in that direction before I'm back home for the rest of the week, wrapping presents perhaps? Well, I've ordered most of the Xmas treats for family... Just a few friends and work bits to get!

Am working Xmas Eve and Xmas day (12hrs a piece) unfortunately which kinda scuppers plans for the big day but we'll no doubt make up for things on Boxing day and not being back until 3rd Jan after Xmas day makes up for crappy shifts in part. Need to work in seeing my family in York, D's family in various Leicestershire locations and finding quiet time for ourselves.

Gotta fly now... Heading off to pick D up from work, then snuggling down in front of a fire (or radiator) for the evening... Better yet, under a warm quilt, catching up on the last three weeks of Heroes! We're sooo behind! Jxx
