It's oh, so quiet!

A nice quiet weekend? Well, so far... Many of our patients have gone home for the weekend and there are a number of empty beds. I'm sure this peace and quiet won't last and indeed, those patients left are some of the more dependant, demanding sorts but for now, there's room to breath (and blog!)

The week gone has been pleasant too. A few days off, waiting for computer components, now all arrived and ready to be assembled! It's going to be a lot of fun building a new machine but i'm glad my half brother-in-law will be on hand to 'supervise'. He's 15 yrs old and has already built several computers, and upgraded, tinckered with, disasembled / reassembled any number of PC's. He's also managed to develop a new website for his car racing club amongst his other tricks! Handy to have close by when fitting those inner-workings together!

Also managed to upgrade my mobile phone... Stayed with 'o2' on contract but extended to an 18 month contract to get the phone I wanted... The Nokia N95! Superphone... more powerful than my first computer and already blinding me with functions I have no idea how to use! Managed to access Facebook and send an email from it though so I'm getting the hang of things! Oh, made a phone call too! Jxx
