Diet 3.1 and stuff...

Would you beleive, I just generated a fabulous, inteactive, informative and humourous entry and then the bleedin' web browser crashed and I lost the lot! grrrr!

Anyway... I shall try to re-create!

Have already slipped up on Diet 3.0. yep, two weeks in and I'm off the wagon again! I have excuses!

St Val's did incorporate a volume of excess calorific intake (as listed in my previous entry) and then last night, we attended a birthday bash at an eat all you can... erm, want Chinese! I did limit myself... I only had Starter, Main, Starter, Pudding & Pudding... It's the Coconut Jelly that I can't resist...

Am back on track today however, having had a de-caf coffee with semi-skimmed for breakfast... Well, it's got calclium!

In other news, was disapointed and unispired by the Brit Award winners in general. Most upsetting was Take That's Patience beating Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars to best single! It's the Giddy Girlie vote that pushes Take That into the limelight at the moment as it's certainly not their lacking talent. We bought the album and were highly uninpressed overal! Anyway, take a listen to the two and let me know which you think's best...

A upside of the Brits has to have been Russell Brand's wit and humor. Although it's sparked a rush of complaints, I personally found his comments very funny! Maybe I'm sick? It is both a blessing and a curse of the nurse to find humor in the most inapropriate circumstance!

Am going to Wales in a weeks time! We've booked a cottage near the Brecon Beacons and will be staying in a cottage pretty much in the midst of nowhere! If the weather holds we'll no doubt marvel at the countryside and views and take advantage of some walking opportunities and if it doesn't, well, they've got a DVD player and we'll be armed with a ton of books to read. It's going to be a great opportunity to simply snuggle up with D and share warmth and affection! (Are you gagging yet?) There's no tv reception adn (we hope) no mobile phone cover so it'll be great to spend my birthday in such isolation for a change! And a further benefit, we're only 40 miles from Cardiff which'll surely mean a trip to walk where Ianto walked and Stand where Ianto stood! Yay!

However, our tried and tested cattery, where the darlings are booked in, is up for sale! We're rather perturbed as we know and trust the current owners who have managed to deal with pern's heart condition and medication needs and Eric's general one new symptom a month approach to life! We can only hope that the new owners have enough inteligence to manage our beloved creatures otherwise we'll be back on the hunt for a new holiday home for the pussycats! It's like it's not bad enough trying to find a new hair stylist!!

Because I can, I shall leave you with Eric Mabius as todays eye candy... After all, Ugly Betty is on tonight!! Jxx

V. jealous. I love Wales, definitely moving to Cardiff after uni. If you do go down to Cardiff, make sure you go to the Starbucks down by the Bay. It's just above the Torchwood Hub door, and absolutely awesome. All of Cardiff is, really. (:

And check out Jacob's Antiques (not far from the Bay) to find the Doctor Who shop...

Anywho, have fun. ;)
