Bloody Long Nightshift!

Without going into too much detail, there's been a lot of the red stuff tonight! I'm working the night shift (my 2nd in two years) and I ain't having fun! OK, it's better than the last night I worked, which was far busier and I was far tired'er. This one has just been a little more messy!

I'm lucky generally, not having to work regular night duties. As a Ward Sister, they discourage us from weekends and nights as they'd rather we acted as the 'face of the ward' mon-fri. All well and good when you've got a full compliment of staff but more often, you're left covering dodgey shifts to ensure a minimum safe level of qualified staff are on the ward!

Speaking of which, I've got to finalise some more duta rota tonight... Shall try and give myself some better shifts!! Jxx
