An exploding Melody?

My new Latter Days Soundtrack CD just exploded in the PC's disk drive! I mean, completely shattered! It's in about a hundred pieces inside the drive! Can't get it all out!

I just heard a bang, halfway through the third track and everything went quiet... Am rather irked about this as I was really enjoying listening to this album but I hadn't yet got to adding the best bits to my iPod! This means I've got to re-order the disk, which is only available on import in this country! grrr! I'll probably also need a ned CDR drive! Even more expense... For now, will have to rely on the rather dodgey DVD drive!!

Maybe I oughta get a new computer...?

In other news, I've had my first request to be the 'friend' of someone that i don't know on MySpace! Kinda wierd... I'm paranoid enough to instantly suspect folk of dishonourable intent! This is probably really unfair! And besides, by having a MySpace profile, you're basically advertising yourself as wanting friends... This whole MySpace business was probably a mistake from the outset... My personality won't be able to cope!

Talking of friends, I contacted a member of my secondary school year yesterday! Someone else from my year has admitted to being gay! 'Bout time the queer folk started creeping out of the woodwork! I'm sure there are more? Anyway, I wished him well. Kudos to him & his Partner!

Work's tough at the moment. We're struggling with sickness again and they tried to call me in earlier to cover. If I'd not just worked a 23 hours weekend and didn't already have plans for this afternoon, I might've considiered but I'm also working 38 hours over the next four days too, with a million and one things to do whilst I'm there so I need at least one day off! Still feel guilty for leaving them short handed though!
