Shop till you drop Swedish style?

Just back from IKEA! Big mistake on the ol' savings account front! We never seem to be able to stick to a list... I've really no idea why we bother to make one! It seems all our sensibilities go out the car window en route! OK, so it's supposed to be (have been? Am I out of touch?) a Gay Mecca, catering to the unique and impeccable tastes of Gay men but we're normally immune to the whole steriotype (despite shopping at Ikea... Heck, we don't go on a Bank Holiday Monday or during sales so we can't be that gay!) so we can't blame our inner queen this time...

What we went for:

Whoops! Spent probably £100 more than we'd planned... And we'd planned about £20!! Good job we got the insurance money back for the cats last illness... We'll need the pennies! (Says the guy who just bought a handheld pc!! Hey, it was cheap from ebay... Doesn't count!)

In other news:

Have added Malvace & Beisla (Sy & Slab) to blogroll (to the right) despite the gits not posting any comments! I will try to keep abreast of your updates folks... Maybe!!

Also, a Happy 10th birthday to Dolly the sheep, the cloned ewe born 5th July 1996 (So, I'm, a day out!) ok, so she's dead now but it's worth remembering this monumental event anyway, whatever your feelings on cloning!?

Nearly Friday... TFI and all that! Am hoping the scales will be kind in the morning! Also due to measure my waist / hip ratio and stuff as it's fourth week on the diet! Fingers crossed... I'll soon be looking like him below I'm sure...? Jxx
