Wondering Weather or not to Worry!

A rather spectacular dsiplay of Mother Natures finest lightening managed to wipe out half the counties electricity yesterday it would seem! The energy company reported literally thousands of lightening strikes across the county causing disruption to supplies including traffic lights around the busiest driving area of the city! Glad I wasn't commuting any where near there... over an hours worth of delay for most drivers!

Of course, the news reported the disruption and managed to level critiscism at the energy company for failing to fix everything in a jiffy! Personally, I'd rather they make everything safe than just patch it up... Easy for me to say though, our home wasn't affected!
