I'm Lovin' it!

No, not McDonalds! though we did go there for only the second time this year at the weekend... Straight after badminton on Sunday morning! Bad of us but those Sausage & Egg McMuffins come a callin' every so often...

Anyway, I digress (or digest?)!

What am I actually lovin'?

Well, two great things! Firstly, and for possibly only the second time ever, Attitude Magazine have bagged a premiership footballer for their front cover, with interview inside to match (pun intended!) As much as we Gay Boyz like to dream, Freddie Ljungberg does continue to proclaim his hetero status but I always get the hint from that gleam in his eye that he'd not be too fussed if the opprtunity arose - surely he just needs to meet the right me! His comfort in his own body was most obvious in his Calvin Klein advert shoot and I imagine this comfort in his physical stretches to his outlook on life in general... Still, as I said, I can dream!

The only other footballer to appear in full splendour on the front page was the always delightfull David Beckham, who apparently has obsessive compulsive disorder... I thought it was just a case of him being tidy! We all like to have things in some semblance of order surely? You should see my CD collection... Alphabetical, Chronological & the right way round in the case!!

Second great thing...?

Green Wing! First epsiode of the new series aired last friday (sorry for the delay in blogging it!) and despite a momentary worry that perhaps it wasn't as good as I remembered, it soon found its genius form and had me truly laughing out loud throughout! (Better yet, the first series has just been released on DVD and bought for me by my beloved! He's a superstar too! Kisses D!)

I remain a huge fan of Michelle Gomez (who's apparently married to the lovely Jack Davenport in RL) and her deranged character (Sue White, Staff Liason Officer) If you're looking for the telly totty factor, you could do worse than Oliver Chris (Boyce - pic below) but the show is more about the looney goings on and usual filming technique than the list of lusts! I mean, could you really imagine being attracted to Dr Secretan, knowing what he did with his mother...?

The show in general comes highly recommended and I expect anyone reading this from the UK to be in fornt of Channel 4 come Friday night to enjoy the experience! if you're not, I expect a bloody good excuse!

In other news, I've managed to transfer pretty much every song from my CD collection worth listening to (and several not worth listening to no doubt!) onto my ipod! I've got 500+ songs now on the little machine (who I named Greg, after Eric Szmanda's CSI character!) and I'm currently enjoying listening to a random selection... really do need to create some playlists though!

I Start my new job in just short of two weeks, straight after Easter which I've managed to wangle off work! Really looking forward to the role and have already begun sticking my oar into the Ward practices... Need to make sure I see how things work before introducing too many new ideas and upsetting the apple cart!

As for Easter, having lost access to my bank account, I'm kinda concerned over how I'm going to afford an egg for my partner but I'm sure I'll work something out...

Catch ya soon! Jxx
