Everything Changes!

Last week, I worked 07.30 - 20.15hrs.
- Today I'm working 08.00 - 16.00hrs!

Last week, I drove 25mins to work.
- Today I walked 30mins to work!

Last week, I was a Deputy.
- This week I'm a Sister!

Last week, I worked with 34 patients.
- This week I have 18!

Last week, I wore light blue with dark blue epaulets.
- This week I'm ordering dark blue tunics!

Last week, everything around me was familiar.
- This week everything is new!

Last week, I worked three days.
- This week, I'm working four and a half!

Last week, I knew the routine.
- This week, I have no idea what's going on!

Despite this,

Last week, I was stressed.
- This week, I am calm(er)!

Welcome to the wonderful word of changing jobs! (And keyboards - this one is going to take a little getting used to! You should see the spilling mistukes I'm making!!)

So, after a relaxing weekend, I'm here, in the new office, on the new ward... It's odd but not uncomfortable! I worked on this hopsital site for ten years or so before moving before so I'm not unfamiliar withy things. Many of the staff were around back then too, so I know names and faces!! Just got to get my head round the weird workings of the ward and fill my head with speciality knowledge and I'll be away!!
