Measly Gigabytes!

I've filled my ipod!

I just tried to synch the damn thing with the updated itunes playlists and it said no! No room. No space for any of these amazing, necessary, gotta have access to on all mobile-occassions, can't be seen bobbing my head along to without tunes!

That's 4GB of music (Just short of the promised 1,000 tracks) that I've got sitting in a little (well, mini) shiny silver hand held thing of beauty!

So, what next? I've already been through the track listings and removed many songs that no longer grabbed me or simply shouldn't have made it to the pod int eh first place... Also some of the most embarrassing tunes have been cast away but this doesn't mean that there's a lack of anything with which to attempt blackmail... One of the additions I was try to, erm, add was a remix of Scooch's failed Eurovision entry, hardly the kind of track you announce as being in your all time top ten in a fashionable crowd...!

What else? Well... There's always the upgrade! This is a costly approach to avoiding being ruthless with your musical taste (and wiping all the crap that you might just want to listen to sometime, just once, when the right mood hits you) but it's the path I'm most likely to take! I'm thinking big! Thinking full size ipod... A 30GB ipod Video in black? Well... It's a consideration but whilst I'm still paying off a loan that doesn't finish till September, I'm kinda at a loss to afford the pod of my dreams!

I shall have to simply try once again to remove a few pieces from the gadget to make room for a few more chart hits that blow me away for a few days...!
