Happy Easter!

I've got Good Friday (today) and Easter Monday off but am working Saturday & Sunday! Damn shame... Will have less time at home to stuff myself full of chocolate!!

Have pottered in the garden this morning. Just a little. Dug up Bay Trees and re-planted them in pots... tried to dig through the soil where I was going to put herbs but it's solid so I've opted for plan 'b'... Bought a new propagator and will grow seeds for pots to keep in the yard outside the kitchen... Handier that way (and less strenous without all that digging!)

We need a garden overhaul really. It's nice but in need of a makeover - there're so many talented (and attractive) garden designers out there... Maybe we should employ Sven Wombwell or Matt James, the City Gardener... Well, if you're going to put the work in, you might as well have something to look at whilst the garden is all dug up?

No news yet from my job applications... I'm hoping to be shortlisted for both posts as I ensured my applications met the job description / person specifications but if I don't hear I'll certainly get in touch to find out what they felt was wrong with the application... Need to learn from any errors... but then, it's only two weeks and I know how long the process can take sometimes! Need to have patience!
