Something Fishy?

I saved a life a few days ago!

Well, so far, the fish in question is still swimming and appears unaffected by it's ordeal other than a few marks on its scales but a life is a life and I'm pleased with myself!

You see, whilst cleaning out the fish tank, D managed to accidently 'hoover' up one of our tropical swimmers... It got stuck in the water removing pipework and I had to blow down one end to shoot it back into the water (after we'd finally noticed it was stuck in there!) We expected the worst as the fish slowly sank to the bottom of the tank, gasping but within no time it was up and swimming once again, happy as Larry!

Not quite as thrilling as a full blown caridac arrest situation at work but hey, I'm on holiday... This is as close to an emergency as I wanted to be!

In other news, as the week draws to a close, I can say that I've had a great week off work. Loads of over indulgence in food and shopping means I've got a lot of weight to loose again (Am heavier than ever before! Damn!) and probably will go bankrupt by mid-February but it's all been worth it!

In recognition of my poor eating so far over the week, we've had a salad filled Sybway this morning and some freshly juiced juice from out juicer! Must've had most of my days intake in about an hour! Feel good food too!

Back to work Monday so we're tying up loose ends today so we can relax further over the weekend. Drinking too much over the week so hope to have a sober weekend, just mooching about the house and p'raps playing badminton on Sunday...? Maybe... Possibly? Jxx

We once had a fish jump out of the tank and get played with by the cat for a few minutes. It was covered in dog hair when we put it back in the tank, but it survived! :D
