Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to one and all! Great to see you still here as we enter 2007!

Had a quiet New years Eve celebration with D. Had to work the following day so couldn't get too plastered and although I finally negotiated a late start, it still meant I had to take it easy... Alas, we bought too much wine and whilst I supped slowly, D kinda made up for both of us and had an awful head New Years Day! I kinda feel guilty for not drinking more and saving him his fate!

Was real tired last night though and so didn't watch Torchwood as planned... Did so first thing this morning in stead! OMG! How excellent! I think *squee - dies* is the correct language to use here! What a marvelous climax to the series... No spoilers from me here. I've written a little on the NKT about my thoughts which can be read here. Cannot wait for more! It's bad enough that the DVD's are being released in stages... I thought we'd be able to get the whole lot by my birthday in february but it turns out that's just two of the three DVDs due out by then... Goodness knows when they'll release it all together as a box set! Doh!

Back at work tomorrow then off again till Sunday! Will be visiting family Friday / Saturday so it's going to be a long and busy weekend! Also just realised I've mis-scheduled my work leaving do (for the job I left three months ago!) and need to sort out that again! Whoops!
