2,858 words written... And it should only be a matter of filling in the gaps between references and making it all flow to get me up to word count! References & bibliography written, appendicies all present and correct... Just the continuous assessment work to do and as things're fairly calm on the ward today (hence this chance to add a blog entry) I may even be able to get that done today!

It's all going swimmingly! Of course, i'd have floated better if I'd started this back in December but it's far more adrenaline filled when you're staggering along the knife edge! Results in a few months will tell anyway... 40% or more on the essay and a pass on the continuous assessment and I'll have a BSc!!

In other news, our hair stylist for the past five years or so has sold her salon and left the business for at least a year!! She's only the second person I've trusted to cut my hair regularly and I'm gutted! How the hell am I supposed to find another stylist in a matter of weeks? This takes months of research! Can't believe she's been inconsiderate enough to put her and her families lives ahead of her customers... Erm!

Not that we're made of money or anything but having had another day off together we did manage to pick up a few bargains. No high-end technology this time but a Blood Pressure monitor and juicer from Lloyds Pharmacist for under a tenner each! Can't be bad! Tried the juicer... Certainly a potentially ground-breaking way to get fruit into me, considering I don't like eating apples, pears, berries etc... despite liking the taste! Now I can just juice it all and enjoy the goodness in a gulp! (Whilst seeing my Blood Pressure improve with the healthy diet!)

Really pleased to see Jade Goody voted out of the Big Brother house. Stupid ignorant girl deserved to get a far higher percentage of the eviction vote and Danielle & Jo both need bouncing out after her. Whether or not they intended racism, they caused a lot of offense and quite frankly, they need to grow up and learn that life isn't about their own little petty bubble. As a minimum, I would hope Danielle and Jo take lead from Jade in giving away the money they're earning through being in the house. At best, I'd like to have seen channel four disasociating themselves from the trio by removing them all... Hardly good for ratings though that... Not that they'd be motivated in such a way at C4 HQ? Jxx
