Obsessed?

There are some people out there who are seriously fuelling my Ianto obsession! Thanks to TorchwoodCoffee and links there from (namely Lixa Turner, now a Bogroll link!) for some great screen caps that have had me drooling in a teenage girly kinda way for the past hour or so! Sad ain't it?




Of course, there's more to life than Torchwood, though I'm kinda avoiding most of it. Work is something I'm trying not to think about other than when I'm actually there, enduring it. Last few shifts have been ok but hell, yesterday evening was busy! There's something to be said about consultants who decide to hold a Ward Round which doesn't finish till after 6pm when pharmacy has closed and we're against the wind trying to secure medication for patients who have been told they can go home... Yesterday we also had a poorly patient, mealtime, drug round and family issues occuring at just the same time! You need to be in fifteen places at once most days and it just ain't possible, no matter how much of a super-nurse you are!

With the senior nurses (matrons) and Heads of Nursing, etc... covering shifts however, they're seeing what it's like on the shop floor, just in case any of them had started to forget! They're not participating as an extra pair of hands either... They're a part of the staffing numbers and so seeing it in all it's morbid glory! Good for the nursing soul...?

What was that I was saying about not thinking about work when I'm not there...?

In other news - we have heat! Boiler was fitted in record time and other than a few footprints on the carpet they've left the place neat and tidy! The excess rubbish has also been removed this morning so we're done and dusted from first enquiring to having everything installed in about three weeks!! I wouldn't have thought I'd be recommending them butBritish Gas have done a great job with an above average level of customer service from start to finish!
