Between times.

It's an odd time of year between Christmas and New Year. it feels as though you're not quite in one place or another. For instance, I'm back at work today but although it's a normal weekday, many beds still remain empty, unheard of on any other week. It adds to the sureal atmosphere around us to be doing the mundane without it being quite as it should be. Maybe this isn't the same for everyone but I know I've experienced this strange feeling year on year myself. Not unpleasant, more just slightly off the beaten path...

In other news, I noticed that the new Harry Potter book (Deathly Hallows) is listed on Amazon.co.uk... Not that there's any hype around this book but as I write this, there are already fourteen reviews for this book which has yet to be given a release date on the site and has certainly not been published anywhere in the world... What are people reviewing? The title?

Got a grand ol' stash for Xmas but it's not over yet... Got the big family visitng trip end of the first week of January (first time D & I can get there together comfortably) so I'll probably wait until then to let y'all know what I got... There's been a fair ol' Dr Who / Torchwood theme to my presents this year though which I'm certainly keen on!

Eating too much, drinking too much and certainly pleased I got larger uniforms when I changed them at work recently but the festivites won't last forever... need to start making detox / fitness / weight loss plans again - Doh! Jxx
