To Sleep, perchance to dream?

Just had a rotten night! Managed to get to sleep ok at aorund 23.00hrs but then had weird dreams, waking me virtually every hour until the alarm finally woke me from a deep slumber at 06.15hrs. Now feel not only bunged up with cold but also very tired and facing a 12 hour shift with (as predicted) less staff than we should have!

I'm perturbed also at how I felt yesterday. generally demotivated, low in mood and in a can't be arsed frame of mind. I wouldn't say I'm depressed - I've seen people depressed and I'm not that low but I'm certainly not riding the jolly train at the moment and I suspect this has had some impact on my sleep pattern last night. I can only hope that I'm so knackered tonight that I sleep through otherwise tomorrow's 12hr shift is going to be a nightmare!

In other news, am strangely addicted to the new Channel 4 show 'Unanimous' the premise of which is to lock nine people up in a timeless bunker and leave them to argue amongst themselves to unanimously decide who should win £1m. Of course, there're any number of pitfalls, secrets, lies and twists along the way and to date there are three of the nine no longer eligable to win (but still part of the voting process) and the money has dropped to just over £900,000. it's a painfull view of how far people will go and how devious they can be in trying to secure something for themselves and nothing for anyone else. Makes me wonder how I would react in the same situation... Jxx
