Hubble Bubble Boiler Trouble?
Just had a British Gas agent round to quote for a new boiler installation. We're currently using a rather old looking, sounding and smelling monstrosity which is highly unefficient and costing us an arm, a leg, both eyes and ears to run!! Although it's a big inital outlay, we should recoup the cost in lower bills over several years... We had been considering a wind turbine and solar panels in keeping with our 'green' nature but we need to think practically as well and a boiler will save more money and polution in the short term. We have finally attached the wind station to the chimney so we'll find out if we have an average wind speed great enough to make a turbine effective in the future and we can still consider solar panels when we replace the roof for water heating...? It's all a lot of money though! Saving money costs!
In other news, we're going out for a meal tonight to one of our favourite restraunts. It's beena romantic haunt of ours over the years and has the most amazing ceiling of all things... Better'n the one at college!! I'll p'raps take a picture to blog later! Hehehe!
Also get to wear my new shirt and socks tonight... Have been working on the BOGOF-M Xmas shopping principle! (Buy One, Get One For ME!) and have come away with a new shirt, socks, hat, DVD's and a TARDIS keyring with sounds from new series two (Tennant!) - Excellent! Actually, I've bought a lot more gifts for others than myself but it's always nice to have new things!
Just caught the last fifteen minutes of an old X-Files on FX... Had forgotten how sexy Fox Mulder was!! Thought I'd finish this entry with a reminder for you all... Cheers for reading! Jxx

As sad as one of my closest friends... Where did you get it?! It'd be perfect for part of her Christmas present!
Not sad! Tardis Keyring is very cool!! Can't remember where it came from but http://www.edirectory.co.uk/pf/pages/mia.asp?recordid=4393857&cid=880&afid=88888 that link will take you to an online store selling them... Jxx
Yay! Thank you! Price isn't too bad either, and P&P doesn't count as part of the present budget. ;)
Yes - P&P is just an ignorable aside...! Erm... Jxx
