Crash!

Watched Crash last night. Got me thinking a little... There're so many types of racism out there that I wonder if I'm a little short-sighted in thinking of myself as someone who doesn't even notice the colour of skin or the proportion of any particular ethnicity in a room. My partner pointed out to me that sometimes, not even considering the act of racism could mean that you're actively racist without even realising it by not considering the needs or cultural requirements of others? Sounds like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't? Perhaps a little thought about who you're working, playing, sleeping, dating with would go a long way in ensuring you never cause offense!? Or is that too much to think about when you're just trying to go about your business in an unoffensive way?

Might need to think about this a little more... Jxx
